Welcome & Introduce

Hello! My name is Sasa Katsuhiro!

I am a skillful and highly organized engineer with BEng (Hons) in the Electronic Engineering awarded by Nottingham Trent University (NTU) in 2022 and currently a PhD student in the field of Medical Technology based at Medical Technologies Innovation Facility (MTIF) funded by NTU from October 2022 after skipping a master's degree. I have over 10 years of business experience before becoming a student and worked in four different countries, including the UK.

My business experience includes software development to automate the database operations, in addition to my previous experience as an infrastructure engineer designing, building, operating and maintaining servers/network infrastructure.

In the lectures, labs and projects at NTU, I have gained a broad range of engineering skills and insight into a field of computer vision through research in the object detection and the image classification using machine learning in the summer placement and the final year project, respectively, in addition to the technical competencies and knowledges required in the latest engineering fields such as IoT devices, sensors, and VLSI / FPGAs.

I am uniquely qualified for your team, not only given my knowledge and abilities, but also my solid background built within several industries in several countries. With more than ten-year business experience in a variety of working environment mainly as an Infrastructure Engineer

at the systems integration companies, I am adept at working as a member of a team consisting of people having different cultural backgrounds. My experience has allowed me to hone my considerable number of skills that will no doubt be of great value to your team.

My expertise can be classified into 6 categories:

  • Coding Skill
  • Circuit Design
  • Object Detection w/ M.L.
  • Network Design
  • 3D Modeling
  • Servers Configurations

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate working on a 3-year project developing a smart wearable dressing with nano-printed sensors for patients with chronic wounds. The project is run by Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham University Hospital, and a partner company.
